winter sport bootcamps
Hello Bobbe Seitz,
That depends on the winter sport you choose. I would acclimate to the weather with cardio and be sure to drink enough water. People forget about hydration without thirst calling loudly.
For snow shoeing, the little hip flexors work hard. Skiing works the quads hard.
Also be sure to remain flexible for the potential slips to prevent strains and sprains.
On that note, do balance training to prevent falls.
Do some fall technique work to eliminate the fear of falls.
Core work for strength and control, hip work for single leg moves like ice skating.
I prefer whole body work all year long and cross training to remain safe for all seasons and sports.
Thank you,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.
