Will the insurance companies unanimously compensate clients for their training sessions soon?
This was a good resource thread on the same topic.

With the quashing of the non-profit health insurance companies by the government’s failure to fund them as promised (trying really hard to stay apolitical here), I don’t think we’ll see it any time soon.
As sad as it is, Blue Cross, Cigna, and all of the other insurance companies run on a for-profit basis, meaning that their primary purpose is not health care or preventative care; it’s to make money off of you.
Yeah, I sound jaded, because I am jaded. Several of my clients were executives for one of the non-profit healthcare companies in my state. In their company, salaries were modest and money went directly to patient care, rather than naming sports centers. In that scenario, where the company really really cares about the patients instead of the bottom line, insurance coverage for personal training was a lot more likely. I won’t say it’s impossible at this point, but less likely.
I’m going to get off my soap-box while I only have one foot on it. I’ve learned a lot about healthcare in the last couple of years and it’s not good.
