There could be many reasons why you are not seeing immediate weight loss. The first thing that I suspect is that you are not burning as many calories as you think you are. Or you are not eating as few calories as you think you are. There is some debate of the roll of other factors in weight loss, such as hormones and genetics. But in every well controlled study I have ever read, when the participants are unable to eat more than the program provides, they lose weight. I would suggest seeking the help of a Registered Dietician to help plan your meals. And then seek the assistance of someone that is trained in behavior change. If weight loss were easy, there wouldn’t be a multi million dollar market for weight loss programs.
