Why AFAA is not register as a validate certification in the fitness connect profile?

We hope this clarifies things a bit!
” …certification organizations for fitness professionals have two principal choices for the accreditation of their certification activities: the NCCA or an organization recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) such as the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). While the DETC is recognized by both the USDE and CHEA to engage in its accreditation activities, the NCCA itself is not recognized by either of these organizations and has no third-party accreditation. As a consequence, some fitness professional certification organizations, such as AFAA, have preferred and chosen the DETC path to accreditation which is recognized by both the United States Department of Education and CHEA…”
