I looked at your profile but it has only very limited information. If all you have in the fitness field is the ACE Personal Trainer certification, you may not make a very strong candidate for such facilities where you usually do not have a single person who can be described as ‘apparently healthy’.
Many of the places have a small swimming-pool and offer aquatic classes which is a good way to start and become known in those places. If you have your heart set on working in this field, you may even be able to volunteer there to make a name for yourself.
I want to make a public comment to Jared’s post: I have found just the opposite to be true. If I may – for sake of argument – classify people over 65 as seniors, then this has been the most loyal group for me with years and years of training.
