Through the years I have heard to press the lower back to the mat and then I hear that it is better to keep the back neutral. I had heard that keeping the back neutral creates more of a challenge and we work more of the ab muscles.
The word neutral is used way too often, what does that mean really??
When I hear remain in neutral I think it means to be in a normal state of the lumbar which means to not compress into the mat. Neutral is too vague a term.
