When did you decide it was time to start your own studio?
Good question.
It seems that by you asking the question that you want more confidence that your making the right decision before you go head first all in.
I had a gym once and before I bought it one of the previous owners told me that I had the skills to make it work, and I did 🙂
So my advice is to talk to someone who was and or is successful to see if they think you have what it takes to “Make money making people happy” as I put it.
Look up Jim Thomas and Curtis Mock on Google. They are consultants in the business and usually you get an hour or half an hour free. After that they may seem expensive but if you feel you need to hire them then do it. You will get far better quality of advice from these guys than anyone else maybe other than Thomas Plummer who is $300 an hour. I paid a consultant $2,000 a month for the first 6 months for consultation and it was well worth it.
Good Luck,
Troy
I think its not about having the moment when your like, “I’m going to open a business”. Its more about having that entrepreneurial spirit in you, coupled with the right finances, connections and a tad bit of luck.
But I like to say people make their own luck.

After about 5 years of training in a few different clubs, people’s homes and outdoors, my husband finally talked me into it. It was scary at first, mostly because of having the expenses of a studio, but in hind sight, I wish I would have done it sooner!
Good luck!
