When a client complains of shoulder pain that they say is on the top of their shoulder(medial delt), should you train them?

If my client was able to train other parts of his or her body then yes I would train them and would stay away from the shoulder area until they have had it assessed by a qualified Physician.
Being a personal trainer means thinking for alternatives at a moments notice. There have been many times that I have arrived to train and my client will tell me their knee hurts or their hamstring is tight, as a professional I know how to work around these situations and still provide a workout conducive to my client.
