Hi Jaclyn. A great deal of my practice is now devoted to post-rehab work. I currently receive direct referrals from local physical therapists as my primary source for this type of work. Additionally, I’ve worked with numerous clients on weight loss (see the Client Profile on my Fitness Connect profile where one of my clients lost over 100 pounds). Lastly, building strength is a common goal shared by ALL of my clients no matter their more specific goals.
I started off my career focusing mostly on weight loss, since that is the number 1 goal most people have. As I continued to further my own education, the more i realized we live in a very injured population, so I searched out the best places to further my knowledge of rehabilitation and injury prevention. Now, with a deeper knowledge of rehabilitation and nutritional therapy, I work more towards homeostasis within the body, to maximize overall function within the body to give my clients the most healthy lifestyle they can ask for.
