It’s great to get referrals
You may want to start a referral program such as refer 3 people who sign up for ten personal training sessions and get a free session with me. I suggest putting it in their contract or better yet make up a referral card and put it on flyers or on the back of your business card.
We give our boot campers discounts on their registration when they recruit new boot campers!
It’s a motivator.
For my personal training clients, I give them one free session if their friend/family sign-up for 8 or more sessions. For my boot campers, we give them a couple sessions free if their friend/family sign-up for classes.
You could also give them a free t-shirt or a water bottle with your logo.

Hi. I agree with the other posters and I also give a free session if a new client that they’ve referred to me takes at least 5-sessions. I think that the key here is that we give our referring clients a ‘gift of appreciation’ that they themselves “appreciate” and value. If their work with us as their trainer is as valued as we think it is, then this offer of a free session should be a great incentive and welcomed gift!
