I will be renting out studio hourly twice a week to teach Dance fitness class. However Im bringing in my own speakers because they want to charge a fee for each use (so i figured cheaper in the long run to purchase my own). The room is about 3000sf and I would like to know what speakers to get with good base and power and reasonable.
Hi Shay, i see no one has answered your question so, i will try. I would think IDEA would be the best place to find the type of speakers you need. Other organazations that offer certificates for dance exercise may have to be viewed. As a speaker myself, i was reletively unkown. But , i knew what i was talking about. i had passion an energy that radiated to my crowd. i was able to answer questions for them. So, to find someone to speak at a reasonable price you should interview speakers. See who passes positive energy on to you. This is power. All speakers start out unknown to many. this is why they offer lower cost. But that does not mean they are not good. Sometimes you can get good speakers from a non competitive business such as yours. You can call and ask. To draw people to your event, mention the word free. Of course this increases your out of pocket expense but, you will make it up in the long run. Good luck, Brian
Ive never heard of charging for speaker use, but maybe they’ve had problems with instructors abusing their system and blowing them out. There are portable dock systems, like Bose, and Sony, that put out a ton of high quality sound. I would look into those before you started looking at larger speakers. The world of smaller bigger sound is out there.
Hope this helps,
