I find my youth programs to be the most productive. For the kids and for our program. Most of the adults I work with come to me from physician referrals for specific needs that the therapy community doesn’t get enough insurance support to maintain. And from adults that have gotten no where with the flash and popular/flavor of the week programs. My programs tend to promote themselves. Word of mouth mostly, once I got things going, advertizing was unnecessary.
I’m just starting to look at having a marketing strategy for the upcoming year, so I’m glad this question popped up on my feed.
My most successful marketing in personal training has been to ask current clients to bring me their friends. If a current client brings me a new client, they get a free specialty class, semi-private class, or private session, depending on the value of what the new client purchased.
