what type of Criteria shod i use to select member of the month & year
Hi Biniyam,
Harris has already listed some great ideas. At our club, we use also a track sheet for taking classes where not only the number of classes taken but also the diversity of the classes are considered.
It is important not to make it all about performance (such as the most weight lifted or the fastest speed) but to give incentives that even the least fit of the members can attain as long as they are consistent.
Good luck.

It’s hard to single someone out for a subjective award, you may want to make up a running list of things to look for, even “for extra effort” or “for taking a Yoga class” or “losing 2 inches off his or her waist in X amount of time”
Use specific goal setting criteria and keep in mind that everyone likes to be acknowledged in some manner!
Harris and Karin’s criteria are great – – I would like to ADD onto the criteria for a member’s personal fitness some criteria to do with your gym business like:
1) # referrals from other members who have signed up for your services; or
2) little to no defaulted payments…
Just some gym business insights for thought !
