I have a question about pricing. I work at 5 star hotel as their personal trainer but am a independent contractor. The hotel is being reserved in a 5 day conference for a company that wants me to hold a large group fitness class for their 175 attendees (they don’t think everyone will come). They want to pay per hour instead of per person. What is a fair price to charge?
Statistics show only 20% of Americans hold a gym membership of some kind and only a smaller portion of Americans regularly workout. So to be conservative, thinking only about 25-30% of individuals would show up, so 50-65.
If you flip the script, and think to charge just a nominal $5 per person at this potential, then you could ask for $250-$325 for the hour. It would seem a fair rate even if half showed up!
Hope this goes well, that sounds like a lot of fun!
