What technology is the fitness industry missing?
I received a contact through my IDEAfit messages that was intriguing. He’s a software developer and asked if there was any technology that our industry is missing, in the event that he could design it.
For me, I’d love to be able to track my client’s workout compliance all in one spot. I can use PTonthenet to send workouts to clients. I can “friend” them on their fitbits and see their steps. But I’d really like to see more activity data about their weight lifting habits and how much of their “homework” weight training they were able to complete. So, an app that would let me track my clients’ workouts (not necessarily see them at the same time because I’m not comparing them to each other) would be great.
Super nanny, lol Karin. No, I just think if I knew what my clients’ workout patterns were outside of sessions, I could help them better. When a client is very vague about how much homework they’ve done, it’s either none or they didn’t remember how to do things. So it would be cool to know. Not because I’m their mother or their nanny. 🙂 I already have two school-aged kids and a husband so I get enough mothering in my life.
