What is your opinion about Cross Fit?
These classes are hard and fun. However, based only on feedback from a client of mine who wrecked her posture doing Cross fit classes, and having personally attended similar classes: these type of classes need better supervision of participants, when they are either not aware their exercise form and alignment may be off or a particular exercise may not be suitable for them for whatever reason. Also these classes do not seem to stretch participants enough after a really hard class, which can also do harm to participants short of time or not “in tune” enough with their bodies, who may run off without stretching.
If these issues can be addressed I’m sure the class is suitable for most participants able and willing to do a great and hard class.
We must never underestimate the importance of personal attention and proper/sufficient stretching.
