Hello Catherine Selway,
Everyone who tries MELT loves it and feels so much better…immediately. That is the coolest part, the immediate benefits motivate clients to continue the self massage techniques. Very well worth looking into… Myofascial Energetic Length Technique.
I love reading about “fellow” trainers; good for you, Karin Singleton.
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.
since I am the person quoted in the program, I am probably best qualified to answer.
MELT is a self-treatment technique for connective tissue. We are using soft foam rollers and small balls to impact this tissue with the end results that many people say that they feel that had a massages. It goes well beyond that, though. With special techniques to teach participants neck and low back decompression, I have heard ore than one person say that MELT has made the biggest impact in their health in a long time. Using this technique regularly makes people feel better aligned and takes away many of the little aches and pains that are often regular companions in daily life.
I know that may sound too good to be true. I have taught MELT for about 5 years and can vouch for the veracity of my statement.
There is more information our, though. You can go to my website for more information or to the main website www.meltmethod.com.
Hope this helps.
