As there is a big amount of new devices coming on the market in the last months, I am looking for some feedback from the field about these: the bodybugg, the fitbug, the basis watch the suunto ehanced heartrate monitors etc. If one wanted to truly measure some critical parameters for dlients, which are the best ones doe you think?
I’ve used both the Body Media system and FitBit. I like them both for different reasons. My clients have had success with both. The Fitbit is nice because it is small. Body Media, on the other hand, is noticeable when worn which can be a negative but is more accurate in calculating calorie expenditure. Good article on new gadgets – link below
