What is the difference between an Exercise Physiologist and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist?

Hi Saia. Unless I’m missing something, off the top of my head I say that one obvious ‘difference’ between these two, at least to me, is the forum in which they are practicing. “Clinical” exercise physiologist connotes to me that the practitioner is working in a clinical setting such as a hospital, whereas a ‘regular’ exercise physiologist may be practicing in a non-clinical setting – for example teaching or in an exercise or sports facility. I see the difference in the ‘application’ (i.e. the site and the clients) of the science.
I hope that this helps.
