It has been recommended that I pursue a balance exercise/improvement routine to help with an old (30 years) LCL level one ( torn ligament) issue that nows gives me trouble while hiking. Now the other ( and never endured) knee is showing signs of LCL pain. What would you suggest for a home remedy program. O yeah and I am 66 years old. In good shape otherwise.
I agree with Karin’s answer. There are certainly a number of sites on the net where you can get suggestions. My strongest suggestion is that you don’t wait to see an orthopedist for a specific diagnosis of the factor(s) causing your symptoms. Being a “senior” myself, I suspect that it would take longer to recover from surgery today than it did 30 years ago!
