Be giving. Not overly to where you are putting yourself out entirely but, realize that the client is purchasing an atmosphere that is tailored specific to them. Personal training is meant to be “Personal!” If giving means lending an ear or advice, then that’s what you give. If its motivation or a stalwart example (pillar of strength) then that is what you give. Giving the client what they NEED, not always what they WANT, is the very embodyment of personal training.
