I tend to lean more towards making healthy food choices over exercise.
If a person just exercises and doesn’t eat properly weight loss will either not occur or occur very slowly.
Most people begin to exercise once they lose weight because they feel so much better and want to continue to add healthy life choices, exercise being one of them.
I get asked this question by many clients wanting to hear one simple answer but the reality is that only by incorporating a complete lifestyle change. The four keys to optimal health are excerise, nutrition, stress reduction and sleep, by implementing these elements you will see amazing weight loss results and lifestyle benefits ranging from better sleep to regulated energy levels throughout the day among many others.
I Hope my answer has been of some help and wish you all the best in your weight loss journey.
Wishing you all the health and wealth 🙂
In general, I think both are important and necessary for overall health improvement.
However, surprisingly, if you were just looking at and either/or scenario and could only choose one, I would say cutting calories and diet would help you to lose weight better and faster. There have been several articles and studies over the last two years that look at this issue. Here is one from the Mayo Clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/weight-loss/AN01619
I help women and moms be fit and healthy through exercise and eating real food without spending hours in the kitchen or gym.
