What is the best way to get AFAA continuing ed credits??
I would take courses that will directly benefit your career AND satisfy CEU’s/CEC’s. A lot of people just tend to waste money on something they just breeze through and send in to satisfy credits. There are many options offered by Michele to which you will satisfy AFAA CEC’s and also, get better knowledge in the field, perhaps getting another certification to add to your resume, or taking an online education course!

There is never one BEST WAY to attain AFAA CEUs that will fit everyone. I think Jason said it best, “courses that will directly benefit your career AND satisfy CEU’s/CEC’s”
Being in this field for almost 30 years, I have seen some instructors and trainers take things that can “freeze” through and doesn’t really enhance their careers.
Do what benefits and is affordable for you.
I do like a combinations of all seven things that listed above to maintain all of my certification.
Since I am certified a Master AFAA Fitness Practitioner, I have to maintain 20 AFAA CEUs where as everyone else has to maintain 15 CEUs. So far, I earned over 50 CEUS through AFAA and other organizations. There is just too much to learn in one lifetime.
