Hello Tarryn Wickins,
That depends on the equipment and your bike. Do you mean a pedal bicycle or motorcycle? For my bicycle I used a baby seat and attached things to the frame and seat which worked out well. I assume you mean a bicycle since mentioning pannier rack. There are many options that should work out well when doing a google search. There are saddle bags for motorcycles. Do not forget the space in your backpack, which I am sure you already fill to the max.
In the end, the best way is to secure everything well.
Take care,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.

When I used to live in Chicago I was using my bike a lot for those clients of mine who lived in the city. Depending the amount of weight and the type of equipment that you carry I would suggest a ruck instead the pannier rack. The center of gravity was not ideal for avoiding cars and pedestrians. For that reason I switched to a rucksack which made my trips much easier and more fun (I was getting a workout as well). After many years of searching I have decided that the GORUCK backpack is the best one. It can hold up to 100 lbs of weight (as long as your back can handle it as well) and it didn’t kill my shoulders or my back. Here is the website in case you would like to take a look at:

They are not cheap, but they will last for ever!

I hope this helps.

Best,
Harris

You have to be very careful adding weight to a bike. I would and do use elastic tubing and suspension systems for my in home/office clients. I use them quite a bit in general. I have yet to find a client that can’t be challenged with these and they are much easier to transport that weights. I also encourage clients to purchase exercise equipment that are comfortable using and can use safely.

You can use panniers. If you’re looking for something more solid than cloth, there are wire baskets you can find and/or modify (disclaimer)
