Please request the client to see a doctor and get approval to exercise with you. Usually 85%of LBP is mechanical. Test the strength of back vs abdominals. The back extension isometric strength has to be more than ab strength.Centralisation lumbar stabilisation exercises are recommended.
if flexion at the hip joint is causing pain avoid that exercise, similarly if extension is causing pain avoid that as it may aggravate the issue. Side plank holding for 15to30seconds three to five repetitions to start with.smoking sedentary life style poor posture are some of the causes. Please do a complete postural assessment and then decide the course of action.
