What is the best meal delivery service for a diet?
Subscribe to a farm box delivery service (CSA) and have fresh fruits and vegetables delivered to your door. This will challenge you to incorporate more seasonal fruits and vegetables into your diet, learn new recipes and you won’t have to go shopping. Grocery shopping is where most diets get sabotaged. This is not a diet but a foundation of health where whole foods form the base of your nutrition pyramid. Soon you will find yourself going to the farmers market seeking out fresh produce, cooking for your friends and eating social again.
There are many reasons that one may not want or have the ability to cook, and as I agree that the kitchen is the best place for me to cook that doesn’t mean it’s for everyone.
I think as personal trainers we need to provide as much information to our clients and offer them as much variety as we can, this can extend to questions such as this one.

Please research the links Joanne and Karin provided and make sure that you are getting fresh, natural and when necessary organic foods delivered.
Obviously cooking your own food is best, but I have tried a couple of services.
I liked Diet to Go best because of their vegan/vegetarian options and fresh food. Depending on your location, you actually pick up the food for a week or however many days from a local gym. Really good food. You can also choose how many meals you want in addition to how many days. For example, at the time I was worried about breakfast and dinner during the week, so I would order only those meals for 5 days at a time.
Brendan Brazier has recently come out with a vegan food delivery product (triathlete and founder of Vega Sport). I haven’t had it but I know he is big on quality.
