What is personal fitness?
Fitness is comprised of five components (muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular condition, flexibility and body composition). So for me, I would define ‘personal fitness’ as the composite level of these five components that an individual possesses at any particular period in time.
I hope that this helps.

Personal fitness is a continuum of infinite possibilities for better or worse physical or mental health. To be fit is to achieve a level of health and function that YOU can be satisfied with for your current or future goals. Your personal definition of fitness can change at any time but you can always become more fit(improve your health, physical, and mental ability) for unseen goals even if you already are fit for what you desire. It is possible to be fit in some areas and totally “out of shape” in other parts of your body or life.
Andrew, I’m with yo all the way here. I love that you stated: “your definition of personal fitness can change at any time.” As we are constantly changing, so are our “definitions” of fitness. For me, personal fitness is ability. The ability to do, see, feel, or think of things the way you have trained yourself to.
