What is a suggested sound level/decimal reading for GX Sound-System?
The GX Studio is approx. 30×30 ft. (smaller side) Just installed a new Sound-System and the quality of the new sound-system is a huge imporvement. I’m finding that a few of the folks here are confusing better quality than the need for us having to blast the old sound-system just to get any kind of volume or quality out of it. Any suggestions or industry recommendations on decimal readings? Thanks so much, TROY
Stick with a recommendation from an accredited certification organization, such as ACE. Typically your music levels should range between70-80 decimals. You can purchase an inexpensive sound reader that can monitor the sound levels. I’ve attached an article you might find interesting that talks about sound level and group exercise classes:http://www.physics.gmu.edu/faculty_staff/exercise.html
Hi Troy,
Mary is absolutely right. Often classes are WAY to loud. You can even download a free app as a decibel meter.
