What is a great client and payment/billing management software or online tool?
Hi Jennifer,
ASF International is a online billing tool I’ve used in the past that worked fairly well. From what I remember they do not charge a monthly fee but take a small % of whatever transactions are processed on a monthly basis. ASF is easy to use an allows for a few reoccuring payment options.

Hi Jennifer,
Congratulations on starting you own business!
Before I answer your question, just let me tell you where I am coming from: our business is just my husband and myself, no employees, and we have a studio in our home. Initially, we trained at clubs but stopped doing that about 10 years ago.
I first used Quickbooks because I thought that I needed to do ‘Accounting’. And while that is true, I found that this was more that I needed because it allows for many things that I had not use for. On the upside, it allows you to keep client’s contact information all in one place.
I now use Quicken Home & Business, and that works well for our situation. Since you can tag income and expenses as business, you can keep all your finance data in one place, and the reports are perfectly adequate for our tax purposes.
Quicken is also quite a bit cheaper than Quickbooks. Ultimately, you need to know what income and expenses you need to track, and that will determine how you will proceed.
Hope this helps,

Hi Jennifer,
I hope this answer is not too late in your search for a billing company. I am a health club owner as well as a software developer who started my own health club software systems. My systems include both a gym management system and a billing online service all in one. I have free trials if you want to look into it. Also, after developing these systems, my club virtually (literally) runs itself. I only have one other staff member.
If you have a chance to explore the free trial to see if it is for you, please let me know what you think.

Hi Jennifer,
I wanted to give you an update about Insight. This version is completely different than the free 30 day demo I was offering before. Not only has the aesthetics changed with beautiful new updated screens, but the gym management system now has unlimited usage absolutely free.
Registering for an account is a breeze and unobtrusive.
If you do decide to try it, I would love to just hear your feedback. I love programming and passing my programs forward. I just want to improve them for others who are in my shoes!
Would love to hear your insight about Insight!
