I’m trying to get my marketing going for my in home personal training. I have a facebook page, website and business cards.
My plan is to place business cards and flyers around local areas for my target market (woman, 30s-50s) So I was thinking coffee shops, salons, etc. Anyone have advise on this or have results? How did you build your flyer to catch their attention?
Hello Trent Barga,
Being on www.ideafit.com has helped get my name out there along with doing my absolute best and giving more than 100% percent, on and off the clock. I truly love all my clients and wish only the best of health for each and every one. I hope and like to think they know and see that in me which builds rapport, leading to better communication, ultimately finding the path to their goals. Accepting invitation to the local business group, volunteering in the neighborhood and wearing my logo clothing everywhere keeps me visible when people are ready to make the leap.

One of the best marketing methods is word of mouth–referrals. It looks like you are newly certified, but do you have any clients who may be able to refer you to potential clients? You could give them a discounted package.
Another great marketing idea is here on IDEA and completing your profile. Just a small suggestion for you to strengthen your profile, but I would think about perhaps revising some of your “About Me” section. Specifically, the asking for suggestions part. :). This is where potential clients go to see what you are about and what you have to offer. Be confident about the services you provide. Also, it would help, if you do have a few clients, to ask them to write a few testimonials for you. It always helps to hear what others have experienced.
As far as fliers and business cards, yes, pass them out to people you meet. Use social media and get involved in your community. You never know who will need your services or who you can inspire!
