I am training a new client who wants to lose weight, she does not want to strenght train, just build muscular endurance, but she has major issues with her neck. any suggestions for a routine. right now we are doing stretching,followed by cardio, followed by low weight high reps on the cable machines without using any overhead pull down type exercises

Before you (or anyone for that matter) can definitively answer this question, you should first have your client consult with her physician so that you can determine the cause and source of her “major issues.” With a physician’s diagnosis AND approval to exercise, you can then begin to develop a program for her.
