Which product/s are you referring to from the MLM Company Isasource?
I agree with Harris and Karin…consult your physician/OBGYN/nutrionalist/dietician before starting any supplement program.
I agree with Karin. Consult your doctor about this, especially since you are breastfeeding. Just because it worked for your friends it doesn’t mean it will do the same for you. Do some research on the company and on any studies that support their claims about their products. What you see it’s not always what you get. My choice would be to follow a good healthy diet and slowly engage into a well-planned fitness program that will help you reach your goals and maintain them. Talking to a register dietitian for a more detailed plan and information on healthy diet plan might be a great idea. I know many people who have tried similar products and diets for 30 or 60 or 90 days and some got the results they wanted and others didn’t. I prefer a slower and more methodical approach to reach a goal than a quick fix.
I hope this helps.
it is always tempting to take something which seem to create ‘great results’ in friends. Each body, however, has its own unique biochemistry, and I would strongly suggest that you discuss this with your physician. This is even more relevant as you are currently breast-feeding and could potentially pass those substances on to your infant.
The very fact that you are asking about effects both positive AND negative indicates to me that you have some doubts. Who knows; it may just be the greatest thing since sliced bread. If it is, I am sure your doctor will give you the green light. I would not take it on the advice of friends alone.
I have not seen any thing confirming that Isogenix hits some basic certifications for the supplement industry. I am not saying that they are good or bad either way. They should have literature that says it on their product information. I will not have supplements that are not certified by GMP stamped on product(good manufacturing process) or NSF stamped on product or this is a sports line of products that will not have illegal substances, http://www.informed-choice.org/
I currently use products from Supplement RX, Dynamatize, and Advocare. Dynamatize has a really clean protein shake ISO 100 that you can usually pick up at a nutrition store. I use the Advocare sports line and I usually get good deals from supplement RX. Just do your research before picking a nutritional company. Remember, this is what is going in your body. Many supplements have had metals and arsenic in the past.
