What do you suggest is the best way for me to go about finding other personal trainers interested in renting my space to train?
I’d like to offer up my training studio to other personal trainers in order for them to make their own money at their own rate. It would include full 24-7 access, with their own ADT security code and key to the studio. at a mere $400/month with a 3 month minimum commitment……trainers are making no money for all their efforts and these local health clubs and I’d like to seem them change that around.
As an owner of a small studio, I find it very hard to find good trainers, with the whole package! I found the best way was from local college interns or just graduating. They seem to be the most available as far as schedules, ready to put their studies into action, and go getters as far as recruiting clients! Yes, they lack the experience, but most people that go into our fields have a background in fitness, sports, or the passion to help people! The benefit, is you can start their pay at a lower scale, and increase as they show their value!
I also have gone to local gyms websites and looked under their trainers and read their Bios to see if they might be the type of trainer I was looking for…you can find more specific areas they specialize in! And most good trainers don’t like to stay in gyms to long- I can’t offer them Insurance, but they don’t have to work the usual floor hours, they can come and go as they please, and I pay them more per hour!
