What do you suggest is the best way for me to go about finding other personal trainers interested in renting my space to train?
I’d like to offer up my training studio to other personal trainers in order for them to make their own money at their own rate. It would include full 24-7 access, with their own ADT security code and key to the studio. at a mere $400/month with a 3 month minimum commitment……trainers are making no money for all their efforts and these local health clubs and I’d like to seem them change that around.
Hi, I also have a studio that i rent out to trainers. They also have their own key and access code, plus i have security cameras. I can view the studio from home when I want. The existing trainers have been the best source for me to find other trainers. I also went to the PT certifying companies and got a list of trainers in the area. Then i e-mailed them. I got a few responses that way. I also used craigs list. I hope this helps! 🙂

*Sponsor a free workshop for personal trainers on a topic of their interest and offer refreshments. Do this quarterly and build a relationship as friend of the trainers. Let nature take its course.
*Offer your shop as a place of internship for new pts. We all know it isn’t just about your skill level (though that is the most important) but about personality and the drive and knowledge to market oneself. Be on the lookout for this person among the new Pts and court them with substantial benefits.
Craigslist is great, but you do have to pay for it now. Also marketing during conventions and word-of-mouth.
Most Fitness Organizations now have posting boards on their sites that you can talk to other fitness professional about what you’re doing.
Social media such as Facebook and Linkedin are alo good as you can post it in your status and have them contact you through your email account.
Your heart is in the right place and I wish you much success!
