what do i need to built a group fitness studio
Hello David,
Good for you.
If you want to be successful, I suggest a business manager and lawyer who are comfortable with that line of work. Show them a solid list of what you want to see happen.
Then there are the obvious: clients, money, equipment, insurance, rent or own a facility, etc.
Good luck.
A business plan, a client base, program design and objectives, financial capital or backing, competent certified trainers, janitorial service, advertising budget, equipment depending on what you plan on offering, a lease or purchase of said building, CPR/AED Certification, sound system, a design that is conducive to working out: proper flooring, restrooms, showers? towel service, mirrors, proper ventilation which may include AC and Heat, lighting and signage, a welcoming front desk, ample parking, a business license, liability insurance, a tax consultant, a business attorney, a bank that will work with you, maybe a studio manager to run your day to day operation..
Talk to other studio owners in your area!
