What classes do you teach?
I have taught a wide range of fitness classes including weight training, cardio, cycling, yoga, youth fitness, adventure camps, outdoor training, military training, interval classes for corporations and at special and community events. I also personally developed Cardio Core, X-Spin, Enduro, Cardio yoga, Resistance yoga, SNC training, and numerous other classes.
Currently I am teaching classes for People with Parkinson’s, Stability Resistance Training, senior/general fitness deep water aquatic fitness classes, high intensity aquatic fitness interval classes, and Movement/Myofascial Release/Stretch classes. My classes fluctuate on a schedule designed to give clients the opportunity to attend different classes throughout the week and not just attend the same class over and over.
I also periodically teach a series of CEC classes throughout the year. These include things like the classes above and things like safety awareness, equipment maintenance/repair, recovery essentials, core stabilization techniques for all types of activities, etc.
I take teaching almost as seriously as I take learning. Education is my number one priority in my career. I have a website that is almost finished, www.hawaiifitnessacademy.com . If you are every planning a vacation to the Big Island, you should consider making it a continuing education vacation.
