What are your views on the use weight training belts? for and against

I agree with LaRue and Susan. Weight belts change the center of gravity and the musculoskeletal response to momentum. It can present an unnecessary stress to the lumbar and lower extremity articulations. Better with a major muscle group, balanced, resistance training regimen. I think the risks outweigh the potential benefits.
