I’ve heard a lot of controversial things about dairy, although I don’t think there is a lot of research to support it. I recently cut out dairy for about a year while nursing. I felt good and dropped some weight, although I’m not sure if it was the dairy or just cutting out a food group and therefore decreasing calories without really thinking about it. What are your thoughts on dairy?
I don’t know enough about nutrition to have an opinion, but, what I will say is that I love yogurt and from what I know it’s good for you.
In many cultures dairy food plays a large part. French, English, Swedes and Italian are famous for variety of cheeses, yet other cultures don’t consume much dairy at all like the Chinese.
I think moderation is all this is a good thing.
