What are the negatives with the mind body software?
We use it at one of the places I teach. I very much like the system. We did find when the studio first started using it we got what I called doppelgangers…. We would create a record for someone when they came to the studio, using a paper new student form, and then when they came back somehow they would create another record, and of course if they got signed into class on one their payment might be on the other. However, as we are more used to the system that is not a problem anymore. So really I guess the biggest thing I see is that if you train whoever is going to be the system manager well, and make sure you have a good method to interface paper and electronic records it is a good system.
and if you plan to do groupons make sure they run you through how to input that.
good luck
Just always rely on your knowledge, education and common sense when you evaluate the potential effectiveness of the “mind-body” software you are considering. Is it based on quantifiable research? Where has it been tested? Who are the principles involved in its development?
Ariadne, I don’t know what a “groupon” is. Could you please explain that to me? Thanks.
Take care.
We’ve worked with a lot of ex Mindbody clients and there are a couple of things that come up time and time again:
