What are the best iron-rich foods to eat?

Iron is one of the most important minerals for our body and is vital for transporting oxygen in our body and enables our cells to grow fast. Deficiency of iron can often leads to anemia besides other medical problems. I spent considerable time researching about food rich in iron and came across a great website on healthy foods i.e. http://www.sheffafoods.com/blog/sheffalife/vegan-part-timers-wanted/. Here’s a list of good iron rich food which I find great in taste and healthy as well:
1. Sea Food: You can eat Cod, salmon, tuna, shrimp and sardines as they are rich in iron.
2. Vegetables and fruits: You can include broccoli, spinach, beets, green leafy vegetables and beans which are a great source of iron content.
3. Cereals and Nuts: Whole grain cereals like corn flakes and bran are good sources of iron. Some of the most important sources are nuts that include cashews, pistachios and almonds which have the highest iron content.
