I saw a studio with limited space using a system of nets with pulleys hanging from the ceiling to store all of their mats and blankets and blocks, etc. The floor area was completely clear of anything not being used in a class.
I built a hanging ladder for my blankets (I sometimes use 5 per person for my restorative classes so I have a ton!) so I efficiently used the real estate on the wall in a narrow hallway. I also use Ikea shelves for blocks bolsters and mats.
If the mess is a result of post class rush, use folding the blankets, rolling the straps and putting props away neatly as part of the class, either before or after relaxation, whichever is more appropriate. The Yoga of Cleaning Up!
