I’ve recently been added onto the management team at a local gym that is really starting from the ground up. We have a great location and established niche, but we’re looking to expand certain avenues of income for the facility. I’ve been in contact with several companies for supplement lines and dry goods like protein bars and the like, but we’d like to add products like protein shakes and other post/preworkout drinks for our clients to purchase in the facility. We already have a working location in the facility, but we’re trying to identify the best way to go about making this happen. We’ve been approached by Shakeology and Dr. Smoothie representatives, and we’re hoping to get some insight on our options and anything we should know going in.
There are a lot of choices out there. I would choose what helps your client programming, benefits clients, and increases facility profit best. One of the clubs I’m associated with uses this line:
