As a professional, I do not make comments on such topics in a forun such as this. When asked I say truthfully “I have no comment”.

You can avoid being negative and still get your message across. And not make our profession appear less professional.

I do occasionally use the thumbs up or down to point out clearly good and clearly bad advise. Those getting the thumbs down can contact me to ask for an explanation. I don’t use this feature lightly and always have support for the thumbs down that isn’t from information that I got off a Yahoo! article or some other “psuedo-news” site.

Not realistic. This type of training and diet is very hard , if not impossible to replicate in the real world (unless you have a lot of money and time, like celebrities do).

Best,
Harris

/agree with above posts.

Its not the correct way to go about teaching people to live healthier lifestyles. A trainer going bootcamp on a client would lose that client fast.

The trainer’s approach to training is incredibly unsafe too. Most shows are a lawsuit waiting to happen, but with ABC behind them I’m sure they’re pretty safe.

It’s not realistic
Are the trainers certified with Nationally Recognized Organizations?

Let’s not forget
It’s a TV show based on weight loss yes, but profits a big yes

Do they actually show you the real training and nutrition portions? not in my opinion, I would like to be present for a training and meal session. I feel it is like a hotdog, you enjoy eating but don’t want to see how is made.
