I just started working with a new client and he informed me that he wants to lose weight, tone up, and get stronger/ bigger. He also told me he never has any energy for his workouts because of his work schedule. He takes GNC Ravage to give him energy to build. I told him I don’t think it is the right thing for him right now according to his goals. He is really hesitant to stop taking it though. Does anyone have any advice on this supplement? From what I looked up I still stand to my idea that it’s not right for him. Am I being too much of a “hippie trainer” and out of touch with my client? Help me not be biased!
A few nights ago a friend of mine served us this as an energy drink before going out. We’d been casually drinking for a while and were a bit buzzed but by no means drunk. This stuff was basically like doing two lines of cocaine. I drank it at 10p, had NO more drinks that night and didn’t fall asleep until 1:30. PM. The next day. I did have some amazing sex, clean my entire house and go for a bike ride all before noon but I also felt jittery nervous and overly wired the entire time. Two of the other guys who had it experienced the exact same thing and the other three just partied late and then crashed in the wee hours (or so they claim). I don’t think I’ll be trying it again.
