Is strength training necessary?! Well not if you don’t want to be able to fully enjoy any activity.
And the program that I would suggest is one that has been based on foundation mobility, stability, and strength (which is always as balanced as possible). Then progress to help the client reach their goals without losing or compromising mobility, stability and strength.
For fitness professionals to be capable of addressing this type of client centered service should be the goal of all fitness professionals.
