Starting a fitness class for faculty in a local school
Once schools begin in the fall I have a plan (working on details now) to reach out to a few schools that are walking distance from my house and offer to teach a fitness class to the teachers/faculty/parents once a week. My mom is a teacher in a different state and loved when an instructor came in on Wednesdays immediately after school ended to teach so I think it will go over well.
Has anyone had experience with this? My main questions are if I need a separate liability waiver/release than the basic form I found on here since it will be on their property (I have a few friends who are lawyers I will ask but wanted to check with the fitness community as well), also if there is a specific person to initially reach out to; PE teacher, community involvement head, office admin, etc.
Thanks for any advice/ideas!
I would say try one. It depends on your motivation level, your capacity to stay focused and your capacity to write your own workouts and online coursework writing. Either way, it is important in exercise to enhance your exercises at anyways.
