I have been checking out some software for my clients to use. I have come across one that seems to be just linking to a video on youtube. How do I know that software has permission to use that video? Can software just find a video that describes the exercise and just link to it?

Hi Lisa,

I do not know what software you are using, However, what is on Youtube is available to all. If somebody publishes a video on Youtube, that person has the option to restrict who can view it. If they choose not to do this, then it pretty much becomes a free for all.

I was looking at different software to use for long distance training and one had links to YouTube videos and it just got me wondering. I never really thought about it before. To be honest , I didn’t like it.
