should you list your personal training rates on your site?
I am also hectic about this. Listing prices filters out the clients you dont need. Trying to set up a meeting avoiding the ‘how much does it cost’ question i believe annoys people and probably cannot afford personal training neither. Many also believe that personal training cones at a group training cost. Your unqualified competitors will confuse people with their prices.
Putting a FAQ is an excellent idea.

While I think all of the responses are on the mark, I think Scott’s and Nancy’s, suggesting a range of rates is a great idea. The ultimate rate you charge depends on the variables that Danielle suggests. Mike’s suggestion for being honest from the first contact with a potential client is essential.
Good luck.
I do not post rates because rates can vary depending on distance from the client, needs, packages, and services provided. Additionally, when a potential client calls me for rates it gives me an opportunity to interact with them and discover what they need and the emotions attached to their reasons. It is a people business. We sell connection as much as anything else.
