beyond the obvious nutrition and exercise answer, I MELT almost daily and go to a Rolfer about once every three weeks.
Beyond work (which I do not consider work in the traditional sense because it is so much fun), I love to engage my mind with things that have nothing to do with exercise. I love to read and am also a voracious consumer of recorded books and lectures. To me, that is brain food.
My recommendations to my clients usually stay in the fitness-related world and are to teach them to MELT which is a self-treatment of connective tissue and thus falls into the category of self-care.
