I just started my business and don’t have many clients yet. Since my schedule is very open, Ive probably been too generous with rescheduling cancellations. I”m looking for a sample written agreement that includes a cancellation policy. More detail than just 24 hours, even if its not actually included in the written agreement would be very helpful. You can get some of the forms on the ACE website. And you can search for them online. As you said, you have an open schedule right now, so I would not be too aggressive in enforcing cancellations unless you are being left with an empty hour between clients with no way to fill it. It is your time and it is valuable. You are the final judge on when a cancellation is an issue and when it is not worth enforcing.
